So So So So So So Sorry!

Dear readers (all of whom have probably disappeared since we haven't posted in a lifetime) -

I am (as the title indicates) so so so so so so sorry for abandoning you!  I didn't mean to, I swear.  The worst part is, it's most definitely too late to review all the episodes of last season... it's also too late to do next season promo highlights.  The only thing I can talk about and still be relevant is the up coming "Every Degrassi Episode Ever" marathon.  And even that I have nothing to say about.  Just that episodes will be airing on the weekends only, according to the previews.  It seems they'll be doing 2 seasons a week (except season 7 since it was sort of long, I guess) and then the next part of season 10 premieres on the 11th of February.

In other news, some random girl named Sadie will be appearing this season, along with Alli.  I don't think she'll be that important, she just gets to be in the promo because she can... she's played by a girl named Alexandria Benoit who I didn't care enough about to research in depth.  From what I've gathered in the 2 minutes of my life I devoted to her, she is the singer in her own band.  She's 18 and as far as the internet is concerned, she's single.  Not that I care about that at all.  But she is pretty.  And not famous yet.  So go for it, should you ever run into an Alex Benoit when you're buying your groceries in Canada.
This is a picture of Sadie/Alex.  I'm officially done caring about her.

Additionally, it looks like Scott Patterson owns a keytar according to his Twitter profile picture thumbnail thingy.  I'm very jealous.  I've actually been saving up for one of those.  Anyone wanna donate to the JJ's Keytar Fund?

Yeah didn't think so.  Why would you give me money after I abandoned you for months?  Unless you're one of the imaginary readers who are eternally faithful.  In which case, I really appreciate it, but imaginary money is useless in this world.

Moving on.

Actually, I have nothing to say.  Well, I have tons of things to say, but none of my thoughts are all that organized right now.

Wow, I'm really out of it.  In my defense, I haven't blogged in a while.

Okay, I'll be going now.  I'll write soon, though, I promise :)

How Do You HALO?

In other words, how do you help and lead others?

The HALO Awards were started last year by TeenNick as a project by new chairman Nick Cannon.  This award is presented by four celebrities every year to four teens that help and lead others.

And this year, there's a contest (that's for AMERICANS, for once)!

Except of course TeenNick is conspiring against me and JJ, because you have to be between 16 and 24 to enter.

Darn.

Enter here!  And you can enter once a day!  :) http://www.teennick.com/shows/halo-awards/sweepstakes

All you need is a Twitter account, and if you don't have one, go ahead and sign up - it's free!

Downright Ridiculous

WE'RE SO SORRY!

We haven't posted anything in over a month, and really, I don't think either of us have a valid excuse for that.  We love this blog, and have no idea how we just forgot to post.  We seriously need to get back on top of our game, refreshing Twitter pages and desperately watching TeenNick.

More soon :)

February, Why So Far?

Stephen Stohn JUST tweeted...

after 1032 there will be a break in the broadcasts and new episodes will pick up again probably in February...

New Characters

 *** UPDATE ***

Just minutes after this happened, Brogren tweeted: Just kidding! It's our stand in's!!!!! Hahahahaa! I crack myself up!!!!

Really?  Did you have to do that?

*** ORIGINAL POST BEGINS NOW ***

Stefan Brogren just posted this photo!

I also found something interesting from a  while back that we forgot to post...

The 10th season of Degrassi will further explore the lives of the students, as well as tackle many issues that are relevant to teens today including divorce, bullies, gender identity, community service, double standards, Internet safety, family dynamics, runaways and romance.
Runaways?  Do you think that'd just be Fiona hopping on a plane to Canada, or maybe someone else?

Seventeen's Best TV High School Boyfriends

#14 is SAV BHANDARI!

Who didn't see this coming? :)

Here's the article.

If you can't read it, here's what it says (NOT OURS):

"Craig is so over — Sav is the new Degrassi hottie! His relationship with Anya has kept everyone on the edge of their seats. Will they end up together? Will his parents' opinion win out? The true man comes out in Sav when he takes Anya to meet his parents even though they don’t like her because she isn’t Muslim. Any boy willing to stand up for you is a keeper. Plus, he’s in a band and knows how to play the guitar! Being a hot musician always wins a guy bonus points!"

The Grundy Awards

Holly J. just posted this photo:

http://yfrog.com/mkcimg0649tj

What are the Grundy Awards?

And Space Awakening?  Is that like a tribute to Jake Epstein, who was in Spring Awakening?

If anyone remembers, they actually already did Space Awakening... anyone remember that super boring plot about Chantay and Danny got her sick and Jenna was an alien singing to Peter and I don't remember anything else?  Yeah, well, it happened, and the show was called Space Awakening.

@ROCKSTARSAV uploaded the music video for "House Arrest" by Studz!  Check It Out!

And Stephen Stohn just tweeted about the Degrassi app:

Still hoping to get the Degrassi iPhone app out in time for October 8th... it's gonna be close tho, we may not make quite make it in time!

at the beginning it'll just be on iPhone, but we're already working on upgrading it to the other platforms, and adding new features!

...but first things first, we have to get this version up and running and released!

Sneak Peek on iTunes

That's right!  Just type in "Degrassi Sneak Peek" and it's the only one there!  Of course, I'm a total doofus (to shorten = doof) and I forgot my iTunes password, so I've only seen a 30 second preview of the sneak preview, which was basically just the opening credits.  So make an iTunes account if you don't have one, because I've heard that it is not something you want to miss.  And it's free, so why don't you just get it anyway?

Also, here's a photo and KC and Jenna doing... something.  A cultural fair?  A school project?  Oh my gosh, I just realized that that's Jenna's pregnant lump.  I thought she was holding a blue crystal ball or something!  That's really obvious that it's fake.  Come on, Degrassi.

And then there's this photo, which I really love because RAYMOND ABLACK LOOKS AMAZING IN IT.

One more, because JJ and I are Science Olympians!  Degrassi just got kicked up a few notches on the awesometer.

Season 10, Season 11, The Boiling Point? What?!

Sorry we didn't post this earlier...

On September 1, Stephen Stohn tweeted the following: (yes, I did fix his spelling errors)

okay there seems to be confusion about the Degrassi timeline, and when the Boiling Point began and ends, and when Season 10 begins and ends

Here's the scoop: the Boiling Point was the first half of Season 10--it ended last week, it was 24 episodes broadcast daily..

when the Boiling Point ended we were at Winter Break... when we pick up this October we will be returning from Winter Break..

the episodes starting this October are no longer referred to as the Boiling Point, they are simply Degrassi.. they will be broadcast weekly

there will be 20 episodes broadcast weekly in the second half of Season 10.. this is down slightly from our original projection of 24...

at the end of the 20 episodes in the second half of Season 10 we will be just starting Spring Break

while nothing is confirmed, the ratings for Degrassi have been so good this year that we are very confident there will be a Season 11...

Season 11 would start likely in July of next year at Spring Break...

..and the first half of Season 11 would likely consist of 24 episodes broadcast daily--just like this year!

The Return

Degrassi returns on October 8th!

That is all:)

Gemini's 2010

Degrassi has received 5 total Gemini nominations this year!  Congrats!
Charlotte Arnold has been nominated for her performance in Somebody while Landon Liboiron was nominated for Waiting for a Girl Like You (in America, both those episodes were combined into LoveGames").
Meanwhile, Phil Earnshaw (Just Can't Get Enough pt. 2) and Stefan Brogren (Beat It pt. 2) were nominated for Best Direction in a Children's or Youth Program or Series.
The show itself was nominated for Best Children Or Youth Program or Series.  Here's hoping they win at least one!

Other interesting nominations -
Stacey Farber, along with Michael Seater and the rest of the 18 to Life cast, was nominated for a Gemini for their ensemble performance in 18 to Life.
Melinda Shankar was nominated for How To Be Indie.
Adamo Ruggiero was nominated for his host work on The Next Star (Best Host in a Pre-School, Children's, or Youth Series).

The End :)

This Fall on Degrassi

UNIFORMS?!

Shoot me.  As boring and drab as the preview looks, I want to see how they get this to "go there".

Blah blah blah Boiling Point we saw this already...

Alli and Clare wearing navy blue polos.  Clare has an ID card hanging around her neck... is that part of the code?

Police checking a blond girl's pink backpack (Jenna?).

Alli hugging Clare.

"My life is so over."

Clare with dyed black hair, talking to Eli.

Eli losing his mind (probably because he can't handle being a preppy uniformed nerd - although he still wears his cool ring).

Declan kissing Holly J. (who looks scared)

Dave pointing a gun?!

Jenna's mouth dropping open (winning Next Teen Star?)

Clare running away from Eli, who is chasing after her

Someone walking down the hall (Alli?)

"I'm leaving Degrassi." (This sounded like more than one person, but if I had to guess, it'd be Alli)

Oh, my, gosh.

Getting Real? Degrassi: The Boiling Point Finale

I have mixed feelings about last night's episode.  The Drew-Alli (Dralli?  Alew?) plot was phenomenal.  The Sav-Holly J (Sally J?  Hov?) plot was... no.  Just no.  I didn't even get it.  So Sav writes Holly J a song and instead of doing something sweet that expresses your true feelings, Holly J strips for him and he's just like "Okay, that works."  Then Holly J, who is still clothed, gets caught "stripping" which makes me wonder if that officer had just been standing there watching until she realized that she had a job to do.  But because I have very little time, I'm only going to elaborate on that major plot, the real boiling point (even though it didn't even happen in the boiler room...).

The Eli-Clare plot was not what I was expecting at all.  Does anyone remember in Heart Like Mine when KC sat there with the gun and then didn't do anything?  (Which, by the way, is sort of out of character now that he's such a... for lack of a better word douche.  He would've just shot someone and then said it wasn't his fault, he had no choice and it was really their fault for being in the path of the bullet.)  Well, that's exactly how I felt about this episode of Degrassi.  And this one was a total joke up until the very last second.  I still don't even understand why Eli sunk to the floor like he'd just been stabbed when he hadn't.  Because if that was me I probably would've peed myself and then ran to hug my girlfriend and never look back because Fitz is clearly a psychopath.  But whatever floats your boat.

This morning, my friend and I were discussing how last night's episode didn't really get as intense as we were hoping, when my sister walks in and the following conversation happened -
My Sister: Did you see that episode last night?
Me: Yes, stupid, I see every episode.
My Sister: (surprisingly unoffended) Ohmigod, it was -
Me: Such a joke, I was hoping someone'd get stabbed!
My Sister: Are you kidding me?  That was so intense, like EVERYTHING HAPPENED.

Now I'm wondering if I missed something or if everyone was just expecting something so intense they imagined something...because after the episode I got 3 texts telling me how they "nearly died it was so intense."

In retrospect, All Falls Down (part 2) was intense by the usual Degrassi standard.  But this was the BOILING POINT.  It needed to be so much more than the standard to meet my expectations.  Stephen Stohn and Stefan Brogren were both ecstatic about how impressive this episode was gonna be.  They were working with Degrassi in the age of Rick and the shooting!  Of JT's death!  Of JT selling drugs!  Of Craig doing crack!  I'm not saying I want in-your-face intensity 24/7 but when you say it's going to be in-your-face, I'd appreciate it if it actually was.

So after, and I quote you, Mr. Stephen Stohn, "the best half hour in TV history" I had to think about other Degrassi seasons, making me wonder why would such a reputable show that doesn't hold back ever would not have Eli get stabbed, even if he lived.

So in an effort to defend Degrassi, I've developed a theory as to how that was a ground-breaking episode.  Enjoy my list of possibilities.

1) Fitz and Eli are both alive.  Fitz was just ARRESTED and could quite possibly be blaming Eli for it, even though it's sorta his own fault.  This feeling could develop into a need for revenge, which will lead to a longing for revenge.  This need could escalate to an even bigger conflict, one from which someone's not escaping alive.  Or at least not in one piece.
Flaw - If Eli fights the same way he did in the Boiling Point, he loses Clare and Eclare is one of my new favorite couples, neck and neck with Sean and Ellie or Jane and Spinner.  It'll either be without her, behind or back, or in some new revolutionary way.
2) Now that Simpson is "making some serious changes," Degrassi can do things it's never done before.  These changes are bound to come with complications for certain characters that will push them over the edge.
3) And with these characters getting pushed over the edge comes, perhaps, new issues I can't even imagine.

You've got 24 episodes to prove to me that the best half hour in TV history wasn't just hype.  It better get real.  Because I trust and respect you Degrassi, and can't stop believing that was for a reason.

All Falls Down (Pt. 2) - Important Degrassi the Boiling Point Promo Pic

This picture's got me worried (hopefully) over nothing.

At first you look at it and go "Yay, justice, Fitz is being arrested."  Then you look closely in the background.

Who's standing there?  None other than Clare and Eli.  And if Fitz is being arrested, the only other person left who was involved in this feud is...

ADAM.  And I love Adam.  If Jordy Todosey wasn't a girl, I'd be obsessed with her like I am with Adamo.  If Adam gets stabbed I will cry an infinite amount of tears that night.  It'd be like if someone shot Marco or raped Jane or something.  I don't like it when sad things happen to my favorite characters.

Oh, and even worse than stabbing him?  IF ADAM DIES I WILL KILL WHOEVER WROTE THIS PARTICULAR EPISODE OF THE SHOW.  Just letting you know.  But I highly doubt whoever gets stabbed will die for 2 reasons -
1) Stefan Brogren mentioned violence and a knife when describing how far it goes.  If someone died, I think he'd say "death."  A little more intense then violence.  I'd say from one to ten on the scale of going there violence is a 9.7 and death is a million.
2) If Clare is alive (and she clearly is) then the only people who could possibly be dying are new characters and it'd be weird for Degrassi to hire someone for just one season (not even one season, part two is still to come in the fall), especially if there's a bunch of characters they need to get rid of... on that note, if someone like Peter (not likely at all, though) or Chantay/Chante/Chant--whatever dies, I will not be too heartbroken, because their characters have lost whatever purpose (if any) they once had.

Well, the only way to find out what happens is to tune in tonight for All Falls Down part two tonight and watch the (hopefully) shocking finale to Degrassi: The Boiling Point

ETALK - All Falls Down Preview

Degrassi Summer Finale Preview

Stefan Brogren: We want the kids to be going like, OH MY GOD!

Chantay's face.

Mrs. Torres and students in the background

Principal Simpson: Okay, no one panic, but from this moment on, the school is in lockdown.

Stefan Brogren: There is a knife involves and there definitely is some violence.

Photo of knife

Stefan Brogren: And it affects the school in a way that everything changes for the rest of the season.

Police cars in front of the school.

Stefan Brogren: We go pretty far on this one, and hopefully the fans will like it.

Police walking into the dance.

-Voiceover- Not only is trouble brewing at Degrassi, but the hookups continue to heat up.

-MY ANALYSIS FROM THIS POINT ON-

Bianca is a drama-starter.  She asks Drew, "Why should the biggest catch at school just settle for one girl?"

^ BECAUSE HE LIKES HER! NOT YOU! ^

She takes Drew to the boiler room and I can only imagine what happens.

Alli will find out and probably listen to Owen when he tells her that guys would pay to hookup with a girl like her.  But that probably goes horribly wrong for Alli.

Sally J. (Sav & Holly J.)'s relationship takes a turn towards what Stefan Brogren puts as "sexy".  Perfect.  Just perfect.  Thanks a not, Holly J.

Eclare.  Apparently Fitz puts up a proposition to end his war with Eli if Clare will go to the dance with him, and in an effort to save Eli, Clare gives in to Fitz.  But Eli is so not having it, and I have a feeling that the lockdown and knife have to do with him, Adam, and Fitz.

Finale Week Episodes

Thank you very much to TV, eh? for releasing next week's episode descriptions here.

“Purple Pills” (Pt. 1 and Pt. 2)
Monday, August 23 and Tuesday August 24 at 9 p.m. ET
Fiona has been seeing a therapist to deal with the trauma of Bobby’s abuse, but overwhelmed with anxiety she turns to the next best thing – champagne. Riley is ready to make his relationship with Zane public but when a university football recruiter shows interest, Riley starts having second thoughts. When Eli cancels guy’s night with Adam to hang out with Clare, Adam makes a new friend, Fitz. But after a humiliating incident Adam is ready to take on Fitz and the bullies all by himself.

Commentary: Looking at the title of the episode, I expected Fiona to turn to drugs but I guess that was just too JT/Liberty.  I think Riley should just GO PUBLIC.  If colleges just you based on your sexuality, obviously they aren't too good.  And lastly, why why why would Adam turn to FITZ for a friend?

“All Falls Down” (Pt. 1 and Pt. 2)
Wednesday, August 25 and Thursday August 26 at 9 p.m. ET
Holly J and Sav manage to convince Mr. Simpson to ignore the PTA ruling to cancel the Night in Vegas dance by promising to keep the event trouble free. Drew is suppose to go with his girlfriend Alli, but when Bianca steps in with a proposition he can’t refuse, his relationship with Alli is put to the test. Meanwhile, Fitz promises to end his fight with Eli on one condition – Clare must to go to the dance with him. But when Eli refuses to back down things get out of hand putting the fate of Degrassi Community School in jeopardy.

Commentary: How did they manage to convince the principal to go against the PTA?  I thought Drew hated Bianca, considering he flipped on Adam for hitting on her.  And with Fitz, is he saying that Clare should go with Eli or him?  I suppose it's with him because it sounds romantic of Eli to not let Clare go.

Degrassi to Return in October

Degrassi will return after The Boiling Point with new episodes in October.

Wait, what?
According to TV, eh? (a Canadian television website) "New episodes of DEGRASSI return in October, airing once a week, exclusively on MuchMusic".

This means that The Boiling Point is over after "All Falls Down" and become Degrassi: The Next Generation again, I suppose.  But the good news is, the season 10 break is only a mere month, rather than the multitude of them between season 9 part one and season 9 part 2.

They also described next week: "It’s a Lockdown at DEGRASSI on the Summer Finale of MuchMusic’s Hit Series, Aug. 23-26."

Episode descriptions for Purple Pills and All Falls Down were also released, and I'll post those separately to reduce confusion.

Ballroom Dancing, Anyone?

Apparently, there'll be a music teacher named Mr. Menard (played by Jean Marc) this week.  Which is so cool, because in middle school JJ and I had a music teacher named Mr. Minard.

The episode(s) featuring Mr. Menard will air tomorrow and Thursday.

Here is the article.

And tonight on Degrassi: TBP...

You Don't Know My Name, Pt. 2 (1014)
Alli's plan may backfire when she pretends to be uninterested in Drew.

This Week

This week on D:TBP (I'm really lazy, sorry) we'll be introduced to Adam (Jordan Todosey), the transgendered character.  Originally born Chelsea, Adam's transgendered-awesomeness will be revealed on August 11 - 12 in My Body is a Cage, Pts. 1 & 2 (1015 and 1016).

Adam will be introduced in  I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself, which will air Monday and was leaked online (and I watched it AND I FEEL HORRIBLE, but it was amazing).

Meet in the Middle

Some of you may have read my Glee-Degrassi comparison post.  Well, the other show I watch religiously is Make It Or Break It.  Although I'm not going to make a chart comparing the two or anything, recently I've been noticing something in the music of Degrassi that is making me so ridiculously happy.

Zach Berkman's songs "Start a New Day" and "All That I Know" played during Make It or Break It and I'm absolutely obsessed with them now.  What A Girl Wants (1) had "Start a New Day" in the beginning when Holly J was leaving.  And today during Breakaway (2), "All That I Know" played while Holly J was lying on a bed with her computer.

Now I'm just waiting for "Tightrope" by Paul Freeman to play and I'll be so happy it's ridiculous.
So yeah, props to Degrassi for making good music selections.

I love it when my favorite shows meet in the middle.

Degrassi Twitters

I promise you all, faithful readers, I'm working on my review of "What a Girl Wants (part 1 and 2)" but I need to share this with you.  I realized the awesomeness of this when ROCKSTARSAV started following us on Twitter.  At first I was like, "Oh, that's cool," but then I realized it was more than cool.

It was INSANE.

ROCKSTARSAV is run by Epitome Pictures, which is basically responsible for Degrassi and it's awesomeness.  Epitome Pictures' newest idea for Degrassi marketing and stuff is to make Degrassi character twitters.  These twitters basically embody the the characters and tweet things like "Holly J for president" to the general public and sometimes things like "@fificoyne OMG are you okay? skype me if you EVER need anything" to each other (oh, and someday things like "@DegrassiPwns OMG you're so awesome I love you with all of my heart!").

So far, there's 5 Twitters (I'm following them all) but the network promises more to come.

Sav - ROCKSTARSAV
Riley - QBRiley
Drew - DrewTheOne
Fiona - Fificoyne
Holly J - TheHollyJ

Also, this Tweetless twitter might possibly be Alli, but I'm not sure yet...

Degrassi Takes Manhattan

I know technically for a TeenNick lover I've titled this post wrong, but I don't care.  I love you TeenNick, but "The Heat is On" is an infinitely lamer name that "Degrassi Takes Manhattan."  Anyway, I've decided that I prefer my reviews when I don't ramble on about the plot and talk more about the significance of events, the quality of the acting, the script, the content, and the episode overall so enjoy my perfected (or slightly improved) review of DTM.

Okay, so the first thing I must address - Spinner and Emma.  3 words - What. The. Fish.  I mean, sure, there have been equally awkward couples, but those couples broke up.  They didn't get married.  Don't get me wrong, the whole thing was very well done and not at all forced, but it was just... ick.  I foresee a divorce in their future.  I dunno if it was originally suggested as a joke or if someone was like "Oh, you know what we haven't tried?  Emma and Spinner!  Wouldn't that catch everyone off guard!"  And so Spemma was born (ew, even their name sounds gross, like some sort of artificial meat).  All of their interactions were all so spontaneous and rushed that I just sat there waiting for it to fall apart.  But it never did.  It was like a giant hormonal lovefest that, for two characters that always seemed to have their feet on the ground and somewhat decent judgement, was completely unexpected.  Other than the bizarreness of the couple, though, I really have no problems with the story-line.  It was a cute way to end their Degrassi life.  Considering they stuck around forever I personally felt they needed a memorable exit, and I do believe they got it.  Oh, but before I move on.... something specific to only TeenNick watchers - The whole being married after waking from a drunken stupor you were only in because you were sad because of a break up thing seems to be stolen right from What I Like About You.  And it's fine to share story-lines, but not if you're playing on the same network, sometimes one after the other.

Next thing to address - Declan-Fiona-Holly J love triangle.  First of all, I was expecting more focus on the incest and maybe more clarity as to whether or not this had happened before, but that wasn't the case.  It focused more on Fiona's dependency on her brother and the defensive reaction she has when someone else tries to date him.  Fiona finally got to actually do something and I really enjoyed her performance.  Annie Clark proved her worth on Degrassi and I officially believe she earned her role.

Also, just wondering, did anyone think of the episode when Marco almost had sex with Ellie when they were watching Declan tell Fiona to go to the Hamptons?  The whole "we depend on each other for everything (even intimacy) but we need to find our own lives" type lecture brought back memories.  I enjoyed that...
I also enjoy how it didn't focus too much on "OMG WHOA I'M IN NEW YORK!" and all the New York glamour shots were used in the sight-seeing montage.  But anyway moving on.

Unfortunately, the most boring part for me was Jane.  I love everything she does, even when she's stealing a car from Declan or making out with some random jerk of a guitar-player in the random band she joined called "Flashin' Midnight."  But her character had no point in this and I was really hoping she'd have a cooler send-off.  She was useful up until she joined Flashin' Midnight and then once again when she called Spinner and found out he was getting married.  So why did she even get involved with that band?  It was very weird, and even weirder was the way she left it... I mean, I've only been in two bands all of my life (and neither one has more than one song... I feel like the Zit Remedy) but I never heard of walking into practice to find someone else standing where you're supposed to stand, being all flirty with the guy you made out with less than 24 hours ago.  So clearly that whole block of time in the middle was very frustrating because this was the end of Anastacia "Jane Vaughn" Valeri and I wanted it to be all about her (which of course I knew wouldn't happen, but I wanted a little more).  Fortunately, though, that final scene with her was very touching.  I really liked that last line she had, "I can't wait to find out" or something to that extent.  I'm glad the end of her Degrassi chapter leaves room for the imagination.  I get to picture her doing whatever it is I want.  Right now, I'm picturing her curing cancer while also teaching Venetian orphans to fly.

One other thing that bugged me (I don't know why) is that Jay and Manny are back.  DGH (which was a better movie than DTM, by the way) gave them a very cute ending and bringing them back was just a little unnecessary.  I don't know what they were supposed to be doing but it was just kind of annoying.  Emma could've taken Spinner to Niagara Falls alone.

So final comments: great performance, as always, from Landon, Paula, and Charlotte.  They always manage to blow me away and have me hanging on their every word until the credits role.  Equally notable work from Annie Clark, who I'm looking forwards to more of in season 10.  I love watching Shane Kippel as Spinner and I loved that performance.  And Miriam McDonald?  I have been waiting for her to just GET ANOTHER JOB for the past year.  I'm glad she had such a memorable send-off.  That was one of her greatest performances since season 8.

So, DTM?  A very good way to wrap up a very solid season 9.  Whose ready for some season 10?
